Proflight Zambia Targets Growth in MICE Travel to Boost Business Tourism

Proflight Zambia is strengthening its position as a key facilitator of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) travel, aiming to establish Zambia as a regional hub for business tourism. The airline is working alongside corporate bodies, tourism operators, and professional associations to provide cost-effective and adaptable travel solutions—such as discounted fares and group bookings—for both domestic and regional markets, including Johannesburg and Cape Town.

To support this effort, Proflight has introduced a dedicated MICE calendar and internal tracker, aligning flight schedules with major national events and exhibitions. The airline has already supported a number of key gatherings, including the Africa’s Eden Travel Show and Mosi Day of Thunder. With a broad domestic network covering Ndola, Livingstone, and Mfuwe, and new routes like Mongu planned for late 2025, Proflight is enhancing accessibility to Zambia’s business centres and remote destinations, reinforcing the nation’s growing role in regional investment and knowledge exchange.
