The Botswana Guides Association (BOGA) paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Environment and Tourism, Wynter Boipuso Mmolotsi, yesterday, engaging in a fruitful discussion on the growth and development of the country’s tourism sector.

Established in 1999 at the behest of professional guides in Botswana, BOGA has been instrumental in shaping the country’s tourism industry. During the meeting, Mmolotsi lauded the association’s efforts, highlighting their significant contribution to job creation and economic growth.

The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with the private sector, including BOGA, to drive the tourism sector forward. He also called for more regular engagements with the association to ensure sustained progress and collaboration.

Both parties expressed optimism about the future of Botswana’s tourism industry, with BOGA looking forward to continued partnership with the Ministry to address key challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
